B. Britten's Five Canticles
These five songs span the sacred/secular boundary and challenge the listener on themes of love, family, pain, and death. Poetry by Edith Sitwell, T.S. Eliot, extracts from the Chester Mystery Plays.

J.S. Bach Leipzig Cantatas II: Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring
Zimmermann Band continues its celebration of J.S. Bach composing the Cantata Cycles and Passions. The second concert closes with the famous chorale, 'Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring', made famous by pianist Myra Hess.
